Woodstock '69

Hola,

Ahora se cumplen 50 años de la celebración de uno de los festivales de música mas importantes de la cultura popular moderna. Tuvo lugar en los terrenos de una granja cercana a Nueva York en un lugar al que llaman Woodstock. Durante el fin de semana del 15 al 17 de agosto se subieron al escenario algunos de los mas importantes e influyentes artistas del momento. Dicen que fue el momento álgido del movimiento hippy, del verano del amor, pero también fue el principio del fin del mismo.
El festival se inició con el concierto de Richie Havens el 15/8/1969 a las 17:07 horas y terminó con la actuación de Jimi Hendrix a las 11:10 horas del 18/8/1969 con cerca de 200 mil personas allí congregadas.
Ya sabéis como va esto de Youtube, así que puede ser que le deis a un link o veáis alguna lista y el vídeo ya haya desaparecido.  También hay que tener en cuenta que era 1969, nadie esperaba su éxito ni futura difusión, así que aunque sonoramente si hay mas grabaciones, en vídeo hay mucho extracto, trozo y mucho trabajo de gente por recopilar estos lejagos de historia, que no siempre se ven ni se oyen bien. Las mejores imagenes siempre suelen salir de la película que se grabó de partes del evento, en cuya edición ayudó un chaval llamado Martin Scorsese.
